Merry Christmas!
(Almost) Every year our friends from Chicago come back and spend Xmas with us. They used to live around here and moved away when I was about 5. I'm really surprised we've stayed in touch for so long but I'm really glad we have.
For breakfast we make pancakes, and then we'll get our family and their family and another one together and all head out for dim sum. If we have time and there's enough snow we'll go sledding. I like it because we're able to pick up where we left off and it doesn't feel awkward even though we only see each other once a year.
What do you guys do?

Sorry it took so long to respond to this :)
ReplyDeleteWe always have Chinese food on Xmas Eve with my aunt and uncle. Then my dad has the leftovers on Xmas for breakfast. This year there were no leftover and he was pretty upset. It was funny. Then we open presents and hang around and play games all day. This year I played 6 games of euchre and didn't win a single game. Since xmas, I have lost 12 games straight. I FINALLY just won my first game! We are having a euchre tournament at work this week, I was getting nervous that I would never win. Whew...glad its over!
