Executive Decision

I made the decision today to take work off. If I went in it only would've been for an hour or two anyway.

It was glorious!! I woke up at 11, did all of my laundry, crossed a billion things off my "to-do" list!!

Anyway, now it is time to make dinner, but I wanted ya'll to be jealous of meeee :D

I don't have my Jolly Green Giant picture yet.

But I just wanted to say that I'm tired of being Asian, and I wish I could do something crazy, like move to a foreign country for a year.

Airheads: A remembrance

Well, that's a bit of a morbid title, it makes it sound like she's gone forever!

I tried to find a really hot young guy to hang out with me, but I couldn't lure any over. (I'm guessing it was the sweatpants.) Just pretend my body pillow is my mysterious hot young guy.



Anyway, in case your are curio why this reminds me of A, I have added the inspiration for this photo. This was taken at Rush St. around April 2008:

Hummus sighting

So I managed to capture a typical day in the life of Hummus. One photo couldn't do it justice so this story is told in 3.

This first photo is a perfect demonstration of the true evil everyone thinks of when thinking of Hummus. This photo was secretly taken by a group of cameramen I put on her trail. As soon as I saw it, I thought instantly of the fear I live in every time I think of her.




Notice the disguise she has taken to cover her identity. If this wasn't enough to scare you, wait until you witness her celebration of such a horrible act. BAKING! If it was just innocent baking, there would be no problem here, but notice the sinister smile as she thinks of the destruction she just caused. Is it possible that baking alone could produce such a smile? I think not.

Finally I leave you with the most terrifying image of them all. After her victory cookies have been finished she devours them with such ravenous desire, you cannot help but question what kind of god would create such a monstrous creature.

I don't leave you with these images to terrify you, but to give you just a glimpse of what goes through my head everytime I think of Hummus.

Whinykins

Yesterday it took me almost an hour to get to work because of a bit of snow. It usually takes 20-25 min. I saw two people on the side of the road on the freeway. One person had run out of gas.

It was a truly "Office Space" moment because I'm pretty sure I picked the slowest lane of traffic the entire time. And then, when I was totally prepared to change lanes, the car I would have gotten in behind spun out for seemingly no reason. o.O

Anyway, cheers to today, and it being better than yesterday!

Today I got out of work an hour early because it snowed three inches.

I love Cincinnati. I will say though, they are terrible at cleaning the roads, and are not huge fans of salt, so any amount of snow usually sticks for a bit, from what I've seen.

20+ years in Upstate New York has left me an artic creature who is immune to cold (until it drops below 10 degrees). I laugh at you, wimpy winter! Unless I'm about to drive somewhere. Then I cry.

Happy New Year Everyone

So what did you do to celebrate the new year? it's 2010!! or as I like to say it o ten. i know it's silly.

I had a party at my mom's apartment on the beach. I had a total of about 10 people. It was a very strange night. My sister who was definitely sober fell flat on the floor, we got almost a whole chicken from some strangers on the beach and my cousin's car was stolen. It doesn't get any stranger than that.

My new year's resolutions are to run a half marathon(hopefully some time in February) and to work my way back to the US so I can see you guys again. What's yours?
