I pretty much pulled an all nighter last night to finish a computer coding project so I'm feeling like a zombie now.

Crouton and two of my Cincinnati friends are coming to visit me 2 weeks from today! HOORAY! I'm so excited. :)

I did an eval today in my class to see how I'm doing.

No major complaints so HOORAY FOR ME!!!

SF at 5:15 in the morning. Catching an early flight back to Seattle so I can put in a full day of class an work.

Seattle has definitely settled into gloom and doom. I feel like I haven't seen the sun in days and last night by 7PM it was already full dark. At least it felt like it was super dark.

So I am doing my best to be cheerful. That includes decorating my desk some more:

And also demolishing a gigantic zucchini. I made this:

based on this recipe. We took a few shortcuts though and managed to burn the crust a little bit, but it was still tasty and delicious. Also, I was mad at my pastry for not puffing like it was supposed to, but still, it's dough and I love dough so I couldn't stay mad for long.

We also baked up some zucchini chips. AND I still have 1/3 of the enormous thing left. I think zucchini bread is in my future.
