I finally found a car wash that had people outside of it collecting money so that I could ask them what to do. Apparently the left wheels (on the drivers side of the car) has to go on the narrow little track thing, which was what I was confused about. It's probably a sign of my old age that I think car washes are a little scary instead of exciting.

But my car is sorta clean now. And shiny.
